Zhu Runzi is a photographer based in Shanghai and Paris, specializing in capturing architectural concepts within their contextual dialogue.
He earned his MArch of Architecture degree from the Manchester School of Architecture. His passion for photography grew during his time in the UK, ultimatelyleading him to reveal architecture from his lens rather than design. He is deeply interested in capturing each project’s design intent while expressing the delicate interplay between humans, light, and the built environment. His work has garnered recognition, including selection as a finalist in the Architizer 2022 gallery, and awards of Architecture Video of the Year 2022 at LOOP DESIGN AWARDS.
Among his collaboration with renowned firms including Norman Foster, OPEN Architecture, neri&hu, etc. His reportage has been featured in top architectural publications and digital platforms, cementing his position in the field.
